Convention Project
FEBC Outreach Project - $20,000 for Lives Under Construction Ranch
Lives Under Construction Ranch (LUC) is changing the lives of at-risk boys in their Christian residential treatment program. Through the use of Biblical counseling and by applying Christian principles to their lives, they are re-building broken homes and family relationships.
At the Ranch, boys are able to find purpose and develop their talents by acquiring various trade skills, excelling in education, and by feeling a part of the LUC family. Please join hands with others in the FEBC to help these boys make lasting changes in their lives.
The FEBC Convention Project this year will sponsor two boys at $5,000 each, with an additional $10,000 to be used toward completing the gym and electronics workshop at the Ranch. LUC Ranch provides each boy with an opportunity to learn a variety of trades, including carpentry, mechanics, lawn care, welding and electronics. The boys are very proud of the creations that they personally make and are able to market these things, such as barbecue grills shaped like a locomotive, to the general public.
Individuals and churches are encouraged to give to this project through October 15, 2008. Your gifts will greatly encourage the Ortmans and the boys of LUC Ranch and will enable at-risk boys to have a second chance at life — and an invitation to eternal life.
